Original artwork description:

acrylic colour on acid free watercolor paper, 300 gm weight, 18x 12in., 45 x 30 cm
The painting is inspired from one of my many, many sketches. Slowly I am reaching into my trunk full of sketches, organizing them, and reworking them into paintings … and some into digital works. Many of my inspirations come from sitting and sketching in public places.…. such as this one. And performers make great subjects as they are in one place long enough for me to sketch and study, even as a crowd starts to gather around to watch and film me sketching! And yes there is a ‘guitar1’... Here I am using a loose approach to applying the colour, more expressive. The simpler result can be quite refreshing. The challenge is to put movement into the painting with colour and ‘splash’.
The close up pictures are to get a feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting. Then there’s the work in progress, my work table, and the sketch.
Please note that you can purchase up to 3 paintings of this same size or smaller to be included in 1 order and pay only 1 shipping fee.
