Gabriel says he was playing the guitar outdoors, when suddenly the tea he was drinking turned all the houses pink. And as he continued singing about growing forts and building forests he became a giant. This came in handy, because it meant he could travel vast distances in a short time, which allowed him to sing his fort growing songs to more people.
