Art painting of the Cathedral of Guijuelo - Spanish city.
I went to paint in a small Spanish town. I started to paint over a 100x80 cm canvas with blue paint, and then out of nowhere, a drunken Spanish man staggers up to me (which is very uncharacteristic for Spain, especially at 11 am) and says the following text:
- My last name is Velasquez! I'm not an artist, it's just my last name.
And he begins to insistently offer me what he will bring me now from a cafe of beer or wine at my discretion. When he realized that I didn’t want beer or wine, he said that he would bring me at least water now anyway. After a while, he appeared with a bottle of soda and two cakes on a silver platter. In general, I had to accept a gift from Velazquez and have a bite to eat (which turned out to be very helpful).
So from time to time he emerged from different angles, approached and controlled the situation, each time staggering more and more ...
When I was ready to start adding colors to the architecture, he suddenly popped up from behind and said - That's it! Don't add anything else! Leave it like that!
Well, how can I disobey Velasquez, especially in his homeland? This is what the blue looks like...
