This painting is from my "Zen Art" series, consisting of small works on paper in neutral colors of acrylic paints with sgriffito marks and tiny pieces of black & white paper for accents. Each is painted with a background of black gesso on 140# watercolor paper, then layers with soft, neutral blues, pinks, tans and occasionally lilac. They are highlighted with a particular word or phrase - appropriate for the subject matter.

The "Zen Art" series is designed to be soothing and are ideal for hanging in a nursery, bedroom, bath, office, workout room or dining area.

Each painting is 5" and 5" and comes mounted in a 4-ply white mat measuring 10" x 8"sealed that is placed in a clear cellophane bag. They are NOT FRAMED, but they fit a standard 10" x 8" US-sized frame).
