Original artwork description:

An intricate painting inspired by the beauty of flowers making their first appearance in the garden.

I enjoyed building this painting over many layers, integrating dyed, fine paper and including more detailed mark making in this piece. I mixed my own hues of blue, yellow and green using artist pigments. Ink traces strokes and pastel lines add movement to the work.

The canvas has been painted around the edges in a complementary colour. Hooks and cord are attached at the back – the painting is ready for hanging.

The painting comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
