Artwork description:

I will find any excuse to combine my love of pattern and colour in my print work. Here I have portrayed a small selection of my favourite succulent plants and created what I hope is a fun and colourful piece. During the printing of my designs I often experiment with different colour ways, which more often than not leaves me in a quandary about which one to choose for the overall edition. This print is turquoise with terracotta for the pots.
This is a design I created some years ago, but one that I absolutely love due to all its colour layering and energy. I have printed only two from what is a fast disintegrating set of blocks so there will not be much opportunity to reprint again.
Please be aware that the colours on your screen may vary slightly from the actual artwork and keep in mind that as each print is handmade by me so you may find faint marks or textural anomalies on the front or back of the paper, but these can be hidden with good framing.

Materials used:

Somerset satin 300gm and oil based inks
