Original artwork description:

"Grounded" Is a statement artwork from new series of Olya's work called "The forest of Unrooted trees".
Works in these series are made with one by one assembled thin threads then embroidered onto a canvas. These tree-like sculptures symbolize people, their connections to their families, clan, bloodline, roots, and a person's attachment to a place.

"Grounded" is first and only 3D sculptural artwork in this collection and Olya's practice in general. Here she is using cotton thread, carefully wrapped around wires, shaped in a tree-like elements. Then these sculptural brunches are installed into a canvas, that was stitched in a specific manner, allowing it to shape these architectural gaps where the trees then got installed into. Structural yet minimal and monochrome this artwork is definitely an eye-catcher in an interior.

The sculpture is well varnished and protected from a dust absorption into the fabric.

All artworks are made with professional quality paints on the best possible canvases and stretched by Olya to a wooden frame.
Packed extremely safely and dispatched from Hungary within three-five work days from the day order placed.

Please note: The artwork is sold without a frame.
