This is a mixed media urban sketch of Grope Lane - possibly the most famous little alleyway in Shrewsbury.
True to the principles of urban sketching, I drew this entirely on location, one summer evening.
The paper is A4 grey Clairefontaine 250g/m2 (a very thick paper). The larger image shows the full sheet of paper while the second is a cropped version showing how it could look in a mount.
