This elegant looking gray wolf has been painted in watercolour, using soft hues.
Wolves are beautiful and graceful animals, a symbol of the wilderness; frequently mentioned in human folklore. This artwork is monochromatic in style, with various colours mingling and receding into a rich gray. I have used a mix of techniques here; wet-in-wet combined with wet on dry. The fur has been painted with a very fine brush over a loose base layer.
The painting will come unframed; accompanied with a signed certificate of authenticity.
