This sparkling landscape painting is about the colors of a summer storm coming up at the Northern Sea. The yellows and browns reflect the rape fields, the contrast between the bright shining yellow and the dark grey clouds can be very intriguing for painters, you will often find storm and sun at the same time. I love to see this as a metaphor for life.
The light reflections on the water and sand are enhanced with metallic pigments, so the colors in this painting change like the light changes in nature.
The painting is 20x20 cm and put into a white wooden floating frame, complete size 24x24 cm. Of course you are free to choose a different frame.
