The historic Thames Sailing Barge 'Greta', a familiar sight for residents of Whitstable. This image is as much about trying to capture the sparkling, dancing quality of the sea in sunlight as the Greta herself, beautiful as she is.

There are 3 colour layers in this print, each printed separately by hand. Each layer is drawn or painted onto film and then photographically transferred onto a screen, a nylon mesh stretched on a frame. it then acts as a stencil, allowing ink to pass through some areas of the screen, and blocking it in others.
