An original oil painting on stretched canvas by South Australian artist Scott Maxwell
An unintended seascape painting. Working with the squeegee technique to spread the paint. There are elements of the colour field style of painting. I think there's something nice about the expanse of green played against the texture at the top of the canvas.
This painting is on a thick edged gallery wrapped canvas the edges of the canvas are painted black and a hanging wire is attached to the back so it is ready to hang unframed.
