Original artwork description:

This large painting is inspired by the sea and mountains while living in Majorca and trekking in the rough mountains and swimming in the seas. Painting for me is a very private engagement and it is more difficult for me to express in words what happens when I paint then the actual painting itself. Painting is for me an expression of inner emotions, it does not need to represent the real world . With music sing my heart out and disappear into the painting be the painting. I paint with pallet knife flat on prop ups to walk around it, be around it, contain it instead of standing in front of a distant easel.
When the painting is about to be ready, I put it on the easel, walk away from it and return and let myself be surprised by it, then I know it is finished.

It is framed in a floating wooden frame, handmade with a natural structure and a light patina grey-greenish colour, which adapts to every interior. Ready to hang.
