This is an original watercolour painting of a landscape shaped by labour and industry. The patterns created by these functions etching themselves on the land are fascinating to observe and paint.

I have allowed the pigment to flow and spread in a way that echoes the processes of the industry depicted.

The painting is on heavy 350gsm hand made archival watercolour paper, and is unmatted and unframed.
