Original artwork description:

Painting still-lives is a kind of relaxation for me. Therefore I often devote myself to still-lives after finishing any difficult series. When I observe lighting of still-life objects, changing of their colour, I get merged with them and feel their quiet life. It is interesting for me to paint still-lives, to select objects for them. Sometimes still-lives are created by the life itself and sometimes I see any interesting object and start immediately to select any surrounding composition for it in my mind.
