One in my series of long, rectangular paintings
of grasses and flowers. I love impressionistic painting, and I love colour, and using paint in a water colour like way to ceate a rich and textured paint surface.
Winter light here is cool and grey, inspiring this palette of mauves, purples, pinks and greens.
This 120x40cm painting is unframed. It has white painted edges and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
