Great White Shark digital illustration from my sea animal pattern collection.

We all fear something. For some, it can be being in the water. The feeling of not knowing what’s lurking beneath the surface. And when you’re stuck trying to overcome that fear, have something to look forward to at the end. That’s what my ‘Shark’ art is for. It can help encourage someone who is overcoming a fear of water or going for a swim in the sea. To dive into the colourful and fun world that is this illustration and hopefully, take away some of their anxiety or nervousness about it. It’s for anyone who loves swimming, anyone who wants to design their own room, and anyone looking for a piece of art with a little extra hidden meaning behind it.

The illustration was created by first drawing the shark in a stippling style with inks. Each colour was drawn separately. I then scanned each piece and digitised them in illustrator so I could change the colours and layer them on top of each other to make a shark.
