Original artwork description:

A gouache painting of a great spotted woodpecker, half way up a tree trunk displaying his wonderful plumage. It is executed on 300gsm, hot pressed watercolour paper and is signed and titled on the back, is unmounted and unframed.

This painting was inspired by the birds I see the whole time from my studio window as they fly and glide and swoop past me, offering a continual inspiring sight :)
