Grazing by the Estuary is an original linocut print by Fiona Carver. It depicts a lovely peaceful scene of sheep grazing gently on the banks of a typical Cornish Estuary. The lovely pink hydrangeas are growing and, as you'd expect in Du Maurier country, the dark trees reach down the hill to the water's edge.
The linocut is hand printed with an old cast iron press using 4 carved blocks of lino, one for each layer of colour. Printed using oil based inks on somerset 300gsm paper.
It comes archivally mounted in a pale cream board and wrapped in cellophane and tissue.
