A large, expressive still-life painting that plays with the meanings and sizes of life’s normal objects and gives them a new context.
The contrast between the gestural brushstrokes in the tradition of European painting (form the impressionists onwards), is made to contrast the ‘Pop’ and Photorealistic (American?) choice of objects and image.
