Original artwork description:

This photorealistic black & pink Helix snail painting was inspired by a pandemic.

New timeframe - slowing down: Due to the stay-home restrictions, everyday life, which seemed unstoppable has been suddenly slowing down. As a result, many people had experienced the eye-opening moment such as realizing how much they have missed out enjoy watching their children grow, and for others, simply pause and deeply reconsider their lives.

The new value of life: Pandemic made a huge impact on people’s livelihood around the world. People learned gratitude -how precious to be healthy, to have a family, to have a job, to have food, roof on the top, often so-called “ordinary life”.

Slow pace life gave us the type of moment such as finding a snail in the bush for the first time since their childhood. The truth is, the snail was always there, but people just didn’t see it without slowing down.
