Grassland in winter: As the cold weather and low light transform the terrain, the vegetation changes to take on the forces of winter. Colours are muted there is some kind of strange beauty in the winter landscape I am fascinated by the texture light and tones of nature. This work was created using acrylic applied with a palette knife creating structure, depth and detail.
