One of the loveliest walks in the UK surely? A walk around Grasmere and perhaps Rydal water too. Daffodils and blossoms along the way and swathes of bluebells in the woods.
This view takes in Grasmere and the fells beyond. Dale End Cottage nestling into the trees and shrubs along the boundary of the garden and along the stone tracks.
It is an impressionistic painting focusing on the elements of the view which caught my imagination.
The painting is supplied rolled in a tube.
