Oh, what grapefruits were sold in Moscow in the winter of 2019! Large, with pink barrels, soft but resilient. I bought it because of the beauty of this fruit since childhood I did not like grapefruits, but these ... The picture was painted in one evening, in one breath. She brought it home, cleaned it, sat down to work, and pushed the plate under the lamp. And they are like let's light up! During the writing process, even drooled as I wanted to eat grapefruits, although before this canvas I had no passion for them, now I love this fruit :)
