This painting is titled "Portrait of My Grandmother. A grandmother whom I hardly saw and didn't really know. Still, this painting is an expression of gratitude towards her and, through it, an expression of gratitude to all the women, especially of her generation, who were the foundation of our society, who bore numerous children and endured great hardships and suffering to support the next generation.

This painting is part of a series about the women in my family. Motherhood opens a new facet in life, previously unseen. It's a new door and a new path that shows the story of life from a different perspective. Of your life, the life of your mother, and her mother, and all the women before them. It's a reevaluation of roles, motives, and the very essence of life. Women are the solid foundation of civilizations. I see you, moms, I see your labor. In this series, I'm reprocessing these feelings, this new perspective on the history of women in my family.
