The Grand Canyon in Arizona is a unique natural formation. It was formed over billions of years by rivers, erosion and climate change. The layers of rock that are visible today reveal the history of the Earth over billions of years. The rocks in the canyon have a variety of colors, ranging from red and orange to purple. This is due to the different minerals in the rocks. The Grand Canyon is crossed by the Colorado River, which creates incredible water flows and stunning waterfalls
