Original artwork description:

I painted this on a very hot day at Wells, on the north Norfolk coast.
The only shade I could find was here, and it presented me with a view of the quayside and its small boats, framed by the old grain warehouse to the right, with it’s high gantry jutting out across the road, ready to load the next boat.
