The Images in this listing are modified photos of the master model (a sculpture in wood) - SELLS AS BRONZE CAST - the work of the foundry will take up to SIX MONTH. Limited to six artist originals - each unique in patina. There is a tradition in which six casts are considered "artist-originals". They are being numbered with Romance capitals. The number will be engraved at the base of the statue as well as a certificate of authenticity is being supplied.

Casts are usually slightly smaller than their original. That is because the extremely hot metal in its liquid consistency is being poured into the mould. Then while the metal cools down to become solid again it shrinks in that process. Since the first cast has not yet been made the measures are estimated; its height will be approx. 82 cm. 'Graceful' is one of my very early works. To sculpt it in lime wood it I had first made a model in clay of which I still have the one of a kind plaster cast.
