Original artwork description:

My goal was to create a painting that combines a touch of raw, expressive brushwork with very fine, blended areas. There are so many hidden elements of mark-making that can only be seen up close, yet from afar the painting still holds interest with it's high contrast and variation of brush strokes.

Acrylic paint, water-soluble crayons, graphite
