We have adopted many stray cats, taken care of them and fed them. Some of them took to us like our own and made themselves comfortable at ours. One such was Gowrie, who had a strong personality of her own. She had come into our house through the widow, a tiny kitten. Or may be someone dropped her in as they did not want her. Being a tabby she was very cute, (which cat isn't cute for a cat lover?) but she was very ill too, was purging a lot. We took her to a Vet and got her treated and she bounced back like only she can! She has given us so much love and entertained us with her wit, she has a special place in our hearts. And she lived with us for 5 plus years till she suddenly passed in December 2010 due to FLP or poisoning, we weren't sure.
