Original artwork description:
PLAN, GOTTLIEB and NATURE were worked on simultaneously and completed in November. 2020. They are influenced by ordinary images collected by the brain in the normal course of routine observations. In these paintings I intuitively abstracted form to the minimal essence, shape, contour of a distant memory. These forms inhabit a space between memory and reality.
This work was painted on a wood panel, cradled by 2 inch New Zealand Pine. Signed, dated, and titled on the back. Ready to hang.
