This original oil painting has had a layer of resin applied which gives it a glossy finish and makes the colours glow. Partially underneath the resin is a 3D layer of white 'milk' droplets.

An original painted in oil on canvas board with a layer of resin. Size 16 x 12" unframed.

Resin artworks are original oils on canvas board, embellished with pressed flowers or gold/silver and then a final layer (or two) of resin is applied. Coloured resin is sometimes also applied for a further 3d effect or to highlight the motion of the animals hair. Some un-resined work can have resin applied - please contact me to discuss.
