Gors Fawr is an ancient stone circle in Pembrokeshire which nestles in the curve of the Preselis in West Wales. If you visit you will find a sensation of calm surrounding the stones which are small in stature but create an area of peace in this rural area. Gorse bushes and marshgrasses are spread through this landscape as well as the occasional sheep.
This painting in oil on panel capturtes the colours and atmosphere of this quiet open area of landscape.
