Gorse at Borthwen is an original limited edition linocut print inspired by a little bay in North Wales. It is Easter time, when the headlands and cliffs are glowing with the yellow colour of gorse.
It is made using 5 hand carved lino blocks, one for each colour. The image is printed, layer by layer, with an antique cast iron press. It uses oil based inks on archival paper. As each one is printed by hand there may be slight variations, making each print an individual artwork.
It comes archivally mounted in a pale cream board and wrapped in cellophane. Unframed.
