This abstract painting is my celebration of the overwhelming goodness of God. It is bright and joy-filled, like stained glass, in keeping with the collection of Old and New Testament Scripture passages, which were painted in watercolors and then collaged onto four wooden hexagons, which were overpainted in oils and cold wax. The title of the painting was suggested by a song of the same name, recorded by The Martins, a gospel trio, whose work I have long admired. God has blessed me personally, and each of us so very generously, and this painting reminds us to smile a silent “Thank You, Lord!” every time we see it. The overall painting is 28.5”wide by 17” high by 7/8” deep with hanging hardware on the reverse side. No frame is required. For photographic purposes, the painting has been shown against a black background. The painting has been given a satin varnish for protection.
