This was painted on a boat just off the coast of Cornwall! Not easy when the boat is tipping and bouncing around! I think it gives an authentic impression of the chilly, windy sailing experience. Despite being a very grey day, there are still a number of subtle colours within the sea and sky. There is still beauty in grey days. This is typically English coastal weather. Note the sailing boats in the distance.
