This 19.5 x 11 inch artwork is another addition to my "Honor the Trees" project.
It shows a massive basketball DUNK created in the wood cutout of a Spartan Helmet. The basketball design is represented in the helmet spears on each side.

A word about the "Honor the Trees" Project. I am working with my neighbors who run a Kentucky Artisan company called Hands and Feet Designs. I met them one night over a fire pit and discovered that they discarded wood cutouts from their plaque products. We decided to work together so we could save the beautiful wood from the fire pit. So I am putting original artworks behind each piece to Honor the Tree that provided the wood for our products. Each piece may have minor imperfections but so do we as human beings! Perfectionists need not apply.
