I painted this in my studio, using earlier sketches made on my last trip to Venice.
It shows a small basin behind St Marks Square, where gondoliers prepare their boats for hire to visitors. Always a busy and picturesque spot.
It measures 14” x 10” unframed, and comes with a certificate of authenticity so it will make a lovely gift for someone special.
