Goliath. From the "Faces" series.
Goliath is an ancient warrior, a descendant of the giants-Rephaim in the Old Testament, a rock-like man, confident in his power. However, he was vulnerable to the young warrior David, who went out to fight him without armor and with only a sling. But here I have depicted Goliath before the fight, in all his grandeur, his rough features and powerful body practically carved from stone. He looks down from the height of his growth, his brows and forehead knitted, it is difficult to imagine him with a smile on his face. It is his power, steadfastness and confidence in victory that are worthy of admiration.
