Historically, Solidago, commonly know as Goldenrod, has been used on the skin to heal wounds. It has also been used as a diuretic, meaning it helps the body get rid of excess fluid. The name solidago means "to make whole."
It is one of my favorite summer wildflowers. A field golden yellow with Solidago is a sight to see.
Goldenrod is 9 x 12 inches on watercolor paper. It is framed to 11 x 14 inches. It is signed and ready to hang.
