The cathedral was in silhouette as the sun set but I noticed that the birds wings were being back-lit by the beautiful golden colours of the sun. I Controlled my exposure to keep the cathedral in silhouette and retain information in the wings of the bird, I considered a few shots but this one I chose to develop as i liked the formation of the birds. It is a calming image, and as an Aluminium Di-bond the golden light really comes alive in print, with the colours benefiting from the added luminosity.
