Original artwork description:

I have always loved the time of the day when the sun is down at the horizon, giving the afternoon a shimmering glow of gold. I have experimented with this elephant here, imagining him standing with one side towards the sun and other in deep shadows. The artwork has been painted with bold, big strokes; using a lot of water. The tone is warm, and fine details add to the drama.The painting has been done on a heavy watercolor paper and it will come unframed, flat packed.
