Continuation of my origami series of paintings.
It's one of a kind original painting, done with best materials and all my love.
I always was fascinated by the beautiful shape of flowers, especially at the different stage of development...
Note, the sides of the canvas (4cm) are painted in pale gold. Also, painting has gold dots in some of the 'paper creases'. I can not explain why gold... It just felt right... The best explanation I could give is that gold represents a sun reflection in the still waters of the pond. Especially after the rain, when leaves and petals are covered in small drops of water which look like precious stones when they catch the light...
