A warm, golden experience over a serene pond, abstrated for maximum color and visceral experience using thick brush marks. My paintings are explorations of color relationships and space through abstracted landscapes. Meant to calm and even inspire, I believe that art should be beautiful and it is something that I strive for in my work. I constantly try to find color combinations matched with a thick paint application to create an exciting painting surface that results in something more than just an image, but a visual experience.
