Golden Moonlight Bay is a small atmospheric acrylic seascape painting, painted in a a gestural semi abstract impressionist style In muted purple, mauve and blue grey colours, with touches of metallic gold.
In this coastal and mountain landscape artwork I have tried to portray the light and atmosphere of the coastal sea and mountains of the coastline of Scotland, in early evening with a full moon behind the clouds reflected in the sea below.
Painted with a palette knife and fingers, using quality artists acrylics on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) box canvas, with a gloss varnish finish and black painted edges ready to hang.
