Painted on-site at Fort Snelling State Park in Minneapolis, MN. Features a large maple tree with brilliant golden yellow autumn foliage, partnered with a second tree in orange-gold. The golden yellow tree to the right contains lemon yellow highlights, whilst the tree to the left contains peach, orange, yellow and gold. Shades of soft blue and pale purple sweep through the sky, and prairie grasses sweep over the ground beneath the trees.
Painted in oil, including iridescent and florescent oil, over casein paint with both brush and palette knife. The texture of the foliage is enhanced by the thick application of paint with palette knife
Framed in a 2" wide acrylic frame with a gloss black finish. May be purchased unframed by request.
