Golden Hour is the favorite time for landscape painters and photographers. It's the hour around both sunrise and sunset, when the light in the landscape is most colorful and dramatic. This series explores the beauty and magic of sunrise and sunset.

This little painting was done from memory of a beautiful sunset I saw in the midwestern USA on a farm near a family member's home. The clouds were coming in just at the right time to be lit up by a brilliant setting sun.
