Original artwork description:
This original painting was painted plein air at Wistow Country Park in Leicestershire. The painting was made in the late summer of 2019 when the maize was at it's highest.
It is an oil painting painted with brushes and palette knifes in an impressionistic style. Heavily influenced by the artwork of Vincent van Gogh. After I visiting the exhibition 'Van Gogh and Britain' at Tate in London this summer.
It is an oil on canvas stretcher size 16 x 12 inches, the painting is sold unframed.
I can hand build a frame for this painting in a style of your choice. I have illustrated how the painting could look in a classical frame from the impressionist art period in the image gallery.
