This painting explores expressionism in the foreground whilst the whole forms a familiar scene, harnessing the idea of creating recognizable forms using various mark making techniques with deep textures and paint applied impasto. An original artwork, one of a kind, this painting has been created with high quality acrylic paints on deep edged canvas, which are painted white. A frame is not needed and it is ready to hang. I use impasto techniques applied with a palette knife, which creates a contemporary painting.
