Golden Escape is an original artwork created with acrylic colours on canvas.
The edge is painted in black and ready to be hung up.
It will be sent with a certificate of authenticity.
I have been making a move into colour 'themes' or pallets. Gold and green have been used in a number of paintings during this period. I've also used the dripping paint effect before, but this piece has echoes of a landscape, with the wash of sea green, accentuated by the texture of the plaster creating the effect of waves frothing beneath ominous black clouds. I love to travel and had been thinking about this as I painted. But like much of my work, the subject matter is subconscious and revealed during the process or even after I've finished.
My point of view:
I think that there is never a right or wrong way to make art.
The most important thing is trying. Do not raise any barriers that prevent you from expressing yourself.
Just do it and make something.
Please note that the background images are only used for display purposes and please consider the dimensions mentioned.
